Video: Lykke Li - “Jerome” (Acoustic Session)

We’ve seen songs from Lykke Li’s Wounded Rhymes performed in a curiosities shop, unplugged on television, and as the soundtrack to a dramatic restaurant dance-confrontation, but the Swedish singer has not yet run out of unique ways to deconstruct her sophomore LP for new listeners. Enter the premiere of today’s haunting, intimate take on breakup cut “Jerome,” in which Li shares center stage with her harmony vocalists, backed only by an ominous organ, guitar, and coldly tapped vibraphone.

Love this song. Great version.
